1. Trim your wick to 1/4 of an inch using scissors or a wick trimmer before every lighting for an even and clean burn.

2. Be sure to let your candle burn for at least 3 hours, or until the wax melts to the edges of the mason jar to prevent tunneling.

3.  Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, and never leave a lit candle unattended.

4. Discontinue use of your candle once there is only 1/4 of an inch of wax left in the jar.
